Life is a journey; in fact, it’s a mountain climb.
As with climbing any mountain, some bits are more challenging to ascend than others. It’s OK not to feel OK all the time. We need to remember we are climbing a mountain, and it is only by working through challenges (crises) do we learn, grow and evolve.
We cannot always have the luxury of having a clear view of what’s far ahead either, or even what’s round the next corner. When this is the case, I’ve found focusing on what’s just in front of me, at that very moment, and work through that gets me through by taking one baby step at a time.
Baby steps count, as long as you are going forward. You add them all up, and one day you look back and you'll be surprised at where you might get to. [Chris Gardner]
