What if Google and Microsoft developed a curriculum and practice of teaching (pedagogy) our children, that would be interesting, wouldn't it? Given their inside perspective of the future and with the Internet undermining specialist knowledge based jobs. The Google and Microsoft school would surely give the children the essential skills and knowledge they’d need for the 21st Century.

Question: What type of curriculum and teaching practices would Google and Microsoft employ to help our children prepare for their future?

Answer: it would highly probably be very similar to the school Google and Microsoft bosses in Silicon Valley send their children to . . . a school with NO computers!http://waldorfpeninsula.org/about-us/film/

Additional Endorsement

For additional endorsement take a look at http://www.ted.com/talks/ken_robinson_changing_education_paradigms by Sir Ken Robinson, at the RSA on the topic of the "Changing education paradigms". The contents of this support the need to change the curriculum and teaching methods to reflect the progression in our technological world and the behavioural changes in generations, X, Y and Z, compared to the Baby Boomers and the Veterans.
