How many times have you looked back on a situation and thought, “Now it all makes sense”? What once seemed confusing or frustrating suddenly appears perfectly aligned, as if the missing puzzle pieces have clicked into place. The world didn’t change; you did.
Think about a child learning to read. At first, letters on a page are random shapes, meaningless scribbles. Then, through guidance and practice, the child’s awareness expands, and those symbols become words, sentences, and stories. The logic was always there, but until their awareness caught up, it seemed like an impossible code to crack.
This applies far beyond childhood learning. Have you ever struggled with a difficult decision, only to realise later that the answer was obvious? When we operate from a limited perspective, life appears chaotic and full of contradictions. But as we grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, patterns emerge, and what once seemed irrational now makes perfect sense.
Consider the person stuck in a cycle of self-doubt, believing they aren’t “good enough.” From their current perspective, the world reflects back their insecurity. Then, through greater self-awareness and inner work, they shift their beliefs, and suddenly, new perceptions and opportunities emerge. Were those always there? Yes. But they couldn’t see them before.
The truth is that logic and understanding aren’t fixed; they evolve with us. So next time something in life feels confusing or unfair, ask yourself:
“What am I not seeing yet?”
Expand your awareness, and you’ll realise that life isn’t as illogical as it seems.
“What is necessary to change a person is to change his awareness of himself.” [Abraham Maslow]
